INSPECTION TESTING & STANDARDS :

We offer a full range of Inspection and Testing services to meet client’s individual requirements within the Offshore and Onshore Oil and Gas Industries.

We carry out surveys of fixed and loose lifting equipment in accordance with all relevant legislation and use of Original Equipment Manufacturer’s guidelines and specifications.

 All of the Inspection and Testing Services work carried out  by our Inspection and Rope Access Division, takes full account of the statutory duties required under HASWA Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.

(PUWER) Provision & Use of Work Equipment 1998 and (LOLER) Lifting Operations & Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 are the approved codes of practice and guidance used throughout the Oil and Gas Industry in the UKCS.

When carrying out Inspections and testing other standards have to be taken into consideration such as relevant, BS British Standards, DNV Det Norske VERITAS standards and BS EN British European Standards.

Establishing Lifting Equipment Register :

The Lifting equipment register can be the report of thorough examination produced by the Engineers following their inspection visits. If the location has a list of equipment, this can be compared to the report. Most importantly, the establishment of a register will provide some kind of unique numbering system, whereby someone would maintain a register and subsequently issue unique numbers to suppliers of new equipment.

TRAINING

Gupra Inspection and Rope Access hold Training Schools for their own employees, as well as Schools for our Clients, on all of the Services we offer.

 We have a comprehensive list of training courses available. These include Rigging and Lifting Awareness, Banks man Slinger, Forklift operations to mention but a few. Training will be undertaken at Gupra facility or at client site. Most courses last more than one day.

Lifting Equipment  HIREMENT  ( Equipment Sale & Rental )

A full range of prices for both Sale and Rental is available on request.

Gupra Inspection and Rope Access engineers have lifting equipment available for hire, including Water Bags, Load Cells, Test Weights, Test bed, Jacking Kits etc.

Onshore / Offshore Test and Inspection Engineers are trained to the highest standards, and are mostly multi-disciplined, to carry out Rope Access work, should the need occur, while on location, thus taking away the need to mobilize other Personnel

The capital equipment available for this service includes Water Bags, Container Test Rig, Test Bed, Shackles / Slings, Test Weights and Test Cradles are also available for certification of lifting equipment.
