GUPRA Preferred Method of Disposal & Recycling of Oil field waste : 

Various waste streams, generated from Drilling Activities, Office Complexes or Onshore Service Bases, can be collected by highly qualified company for Recycling or Decontamination at our Treatment and Segregation Plant  . 

At our Decontamination Plant, we segregate the various wastes and distribute the end product to dedicated Recycling Facilities .

Hazardous Waste will be decontaminated through our Incineration System

Waste Oil / Chemicals / Lubrication oil :

The residual ash, which is the end product, is regularly analyzed , then used for several purposes, such as road filling and block making.

We will collect Liquid Wastes on a regular basis, from your location as often as your current operations require.

Stringent checks on the condition of the Trucks are carried out and any defective trucks will not be allowed to carry the waste .

Method of Disposal    :        Incineration.

Plastics :

In order to minimize transportation of bulk plastics, for example, empty bottles and plastic cups, we propose that we install rubbish compactors on location, thus reducing the actual bulk, down to one tenth of its original size.

 This of course will mean the regularity of trucking can be minimized considerably.  These plastics will be compacted in bulk bags, which, if treated correctly, can be re-used.

Method of Disposal    :        Recycling.

GLASS :

Waste glass can also be Compacted, but we would stress that colored glass needs to be kept separate for recycling purposes.     

Multi-bin Trash compactors could be placed on site, to segregate other wastes, hence there would be no need to utilize any other method of waste reduction.  Instead of using Bulk Bags, we would supply metal inner drums for the containment of glass products.

Method of Disposal    :        Recycling .

PAPER :

As with the Plastic and Glass products, we would propose that we use the four drum compactor for the reduction of bulk paper.

Assuming that a Trash Compactor is on site, this would be used for the handling of paper, and other products.

Method of Disposal    :        Recycling.

WOOD :

Waste wood will be collected in skips supplied by qualified companies.  Wood will be collected and transported to a Waste Receiver.

Wood will be recycled and re used, either in the form of wood chippings, or for carpentry.

Method of Disposal    :        Recycling .

STEEL :

Steel chemical drums will be cleaned, crushed and sent to a Steel factory for Recycling .

Residual Chemicals will be incinerated .

Method of Disposal    :     Recycling/Incineration.

WASTE COLOR CODED DRUM :

205 Liter drums are available in plastic, with steel clip on tops, which are color coded for identifying waste contents of drums. These are available ex.  Aberdeen , UK.
